Best Student Paper Award /

Any full-time university student, who is the first author as well as the presenting author of a paper registered to participate in the “Best Student Paper Award” will be eligible for this award. Winners will be selected by the ACP/IPOC 2022 Committee. Awards will be presented to the winners at the conference banquet and award ceremony.
Young Scientist Award
Everyone within the age of 40 by Oct 30, 2022 with a doctor degree is eligible for Young Scientist Award. Application could be made during registration. The applicant is required to submit representative publications (up to 3) and full CV for judges to review. All publications need to provide impact factor, citation and major research contributions. Submit the above application materials via email to sharonqin@young.ac.cn by 1 Oct 2022.
Communications and Photonics Student Achievement Award
(3 Categories: Undergraduate/Master/PhD)
Award given to student who produced high quality thesis, dissertation or report. Awards will be given to outstanding students under each category. Applicants will be evaluated by an expert panel led by ACP/IPOC 2022 Technical Program Committee Chair.
Eligibility:
(1) The candidate must be an undergraduate, Master or PhD student before 1 July 2021.
(2) The thesis, dissertation or report must be produced between 1 July 2021 and 30 Oct 2022.
Application Procedure:
Submit the following materials via email to sharonqin@young.ac.cn
- English abstract of the thesis, dissertation or report (within 1 page);
- A supporting letter from the supervisor or mentor;
- CV and transcript of the applicant;
- Thesis, dissertation or report in pdf;
- Student ID card
The application deadline is 1 Oct 2022. Winners will be informed via email and awards will be presented on 6 Nov 2022 during ACP/IPOC opening ceremony.
Application Procedure:
Technopreneurship Award
Awards will be given to innovative ideas or products which demonstrated new inventions, new technologies or new concepts in the fields of communications and photonics. Awards including the best innovation award, the most commercial value award and the most creative award will be given to outstanding projects. Applicantions will be evaluated by an expert panel appointed by ACP/IPOC 2022 Technical Program Committee. This is a platform for optoelectonic researchers or engineers to showcase their innovative product ideas or enginnering solutions.
